Abstract   The study examines the numerous government initiatives and plans in India that support female business. The study is founded on a thorough review of academic journals, government reports, and other pertinent sources. Although there have been a number of efforts to assist women entrepreneurs, the analysis shows that their effectiveness has been limited due to inconsistent implementation. The research finds a number of factors, such as a lack of awareness among female entrepreneurs, insufficient funding, and insufficient monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, that undermine the effectiveness of these policies. The paper ends by making a number of recommendations to enhance the effect of governmental policies and programmes on women's entrepreneurship in India. These recommendations include better monitoring and evaluation systems, more funding, and increased awareness-raising initiatives.
